PUBLIC EDUCATION - SCHEDULE
Our Flotilla is formulating its plans for this year's series of boating safety classes. At this time two events are scheduled. We are in the process of scheduling additional classes, and hope to offer classes also in northern Door County and in Algoma.
About Boating Safely (ABS) (Formerly entitled "America's Boating Course")
June 28, 2008 at the Sister Bay Fire Station we plan to present a comprehensive one-day class, About Boating Safely, beginning at 9:00 a.m.. The class will finish at about 4:00 p.m.. This class qualifies for the State of Wisconsin boating safety class requirements. Everyone who passes the test will be issued a certificate and a card verifying that the holder has passed the course. The fee for this class is $25 per person. This covers the costs of the book, the test, certificates, and a light lunch.
For further information on this class contact Randall Styx via email at fco4o6@dcwis.com or by phone at 920-743-4361.
